Chateau Royale Hotel in Batangas is one of the hotel websites that I am still working on with. I used this as one of my SEO accomplishments because the site gets high ranks in Google, and also get higher visitors from the Search Engines and Referring websites.

From July 12 to August 11, the site got 935 visits compared to last month having 880 visits only.

Way back 2007, I was assigned to optimize this DVD store site. At first, we researched the needed keywords for the site. Then, as we extract the needed keywords for the site, we target each site’s pages with their designated keywords. After that, we promote it using link submission, directory submission, link trades, blog links, forum post links, and any other off-page optimization techniques.

Anyway, as I start with my first post in this blog, I would like to share my experiences before I build this blog. I started as a full-time link builder and then I researched some things that can be done in SEO rather than link building. I learned how to look for targeted keywords for each given product/site, implement it using CMS or some knowledge in HTML, and voila! Im done learning the basic SEO strategies.

After I left my previous company, I practiced designing using Adobe Photoshop and some web applications. I also learned CSS when I transferred to another company and I hope that will develop in the near future.
