When I started Internet Marketing, maybe 5 years ago, I started creating test websites, doing newbie designs for my own blogs and sites. I also tried doing PHP programming for my test sites.

On my first full-time job as an SEO, I am not familiar about PRs, Backlinks, SERPs, or whatsoever. But one of my mentors told me that PR is not good enough to obtain because for now, they are used for link exchanges only, except if you want to sell link spaces in your site, why not?

Anyway, another one told me that if you want to learn more about SEO, better learn the SEM side where in you can get more potential customers, and of course, learn how to monetize your site.

I sat on my desk, try to figure out how to earn money with my sites, and I started doing MFA sites. I got my first earnings on January 2008, and pursue it by marketing all my sites using any of my techniques, forbidden or legitimate.

To summarize all of it, it is better to learn how to monetize it according to your will and learn how to get more quality visitors in order to get higher ROI.

Last year, I worked a lot of adult clients online and I realized that working with adult sites are very uncomfortable. I just don’t like to work for adult clients because even though they pay me higher, I can also get higher chance of harming my computer.

Now, in 2009, all I can say is… NO MORE ADULT SITES, ADULT CLIENT SITES, OR ANY OF THOSE ADULT STUFFS.

Recently, I just experienced series of homebased outsourcing jobs, but I found out that clients may come and go. But some clients still keep in touch. But the reason why clients stay because most of the clients are very kind and friendly. Even though they did some things like give bulk amounts of work, and getting offline for a long period of time, having these qualities may still keep your client. Here are the reasons why they still keep in touch for a long period of time:

Think of your clients as a friend, not just your boss.

Work properly and show him some tricks that may impress him.

If you have finished your task, chat with him and talk some things that are out-of-work (but not all the time).

I remembered 2 years ago when I just started blogging. I just realized that writing a blog does not only mean online journals or online diaries, but it can also be an instrument for SEO and making money online.

I started blogging using wordpress.com and blogger, and as time goes by, I learned how to create money from those blogs.

I also learned how to use blogs can be used for 3 way linking, especially on adult sites.

I started working on blogs using wordpress.org in mid-2007. I also learned how to install WordPress in mid-2008. And right now, I choose wordpress rather than blogger because:

Blogs in Blogger are very hard to configure because it uses special tags that only Blogger can understand, but WordPress is easier to edit, because it can only require knowledge in PHP and HTML.

Blogger’s CSS cannot be externalized.

WordPress posts can have meta tags for each post using All in one SEO plugin.

WordPress is more corporate than Blogger.

First of all, I want to thank all of my friends who supported me for this blog, especially the ones who helped me build this blog for business purposes.

Anyway, as I start with my first post in this blog, I would like to share my experiences before I build this blog. I started as a full-time link builder and then I researched some things that can be done in SEO rather than link building. I learned how to look for targeted keywords for each given product/site, implement it using CMS or some knowledge in HTML, and voila! Im done learning the basic SEO strategies.

After I left my previous company, I practiced designing using Adobe Photoshop and some web applications. I also learned CSS when I transferred to another company and I hope that will develop in the near future.
