How to increase my visitors for my site?

As I have researched the different theories on what are the possible reasons on why my site does not get higher traffic, I came up with these theories:

- My site’s loading speed is too slow
- Depends on the seasonality (for hotel, vacation, lodging, and resort websites)
- Usability problem
- Site contains useless content (under construction, welcome, or just a plain text)
- The site is seen as a spam site
- The keyword optimized does not have searchers
- The keyword for a certain location has a low searchers/trend
- The site does not load very well (usually contains errors)

Therefore, to be able to increase the traffic of my site, I need to do the following:

- Check the latest keyword trends using Google Trends.
- Check the estimated searchers of a certain keyword using Trellian, Adwords Traffic Estimator, Wordtracker, Digitalpoint, etc.
- Socialize, Communicate, and be public
- Check for errors using dead-links.com
- Add fresh content from time-to-time
- Avoid overoptimization/oversubmission
- Build links using your targeted keywords as an anchor text

… for additional strategies, just drop a comment, thanks!
